NRG+ is a global renewable energy group founded in Italy in 2020, with the vision of actively contributing to the decarbonization of the electricity sector through the development of high-quality renewable energy projects.Since its beginnings, the company has grown into an international organization with presence across Europe and Latin America, combining strong local knowledge with a global perspective to navigate diverse regulatory and market environments. NRG+ was created to support the development of modern, reliable and sustainable energy solutions, acting as a strategic partner throughout the early stages of renewable energy projects. From greenfield opportunities to projects ready for construction, we work closely with stakeholders to structure solid, bankable assets. Today, as part of an integrated group, NRG+ leads project development and permitting, while execution activities — including engineering, EPC and O&M — are delivered through Renergeia, ensuring continuity, technical excellence and long-term value across the full project lifecycle.

We have an integrated business model to support our clients throughout the entire value chain. On one hand, we are actively involved in project development in Europe and LATAM. On the other hand, our subsidiary, Renergeia, provides EPC & O&M services.

2020 Foundation
  • Establishment of NRG+ with a focus on renewable energy project development and permitting.
  • Initial positioning in Latin America, laying the foundations for an international development platform.
2021 Entry into the Italian Market
  • Start of operations in one of Europe’s most active renewable markets: Italy.
  • Signature of a 350 MWp solar co-development agreement in Central and Southern Italy.
2022 Rapid Pipeline Expansion · Wind
  • Signature of a 500 MWp solar co-development agreement with a leading European renewable energy developer.
  • Service agreement for a 200 MW wind pipeline in Central Italy.
  • First agri-voltaic project.
2023 International Transactions · Scale-Up
  • Advancement of 15 projects totaling over 500 MW (solar and wind) through permitting in Italy.
  • Strengthening of international positioning across Europe and Latin America.
  • Reached more than 800 MW under development.
2024 Permitting · Partnerships · BESS
  • Signature of co-development agreements for 130 MW of BESS projects in Southern Italy.
  • Continued expansion of the Italian pipeline across multiple regions: more than 1.5 GW projects under development.
2025 Direct Investment Model
  • Introduction of a proprietary development strategy in Italy, complementing the co-development model.
  • Issuance of a EURO 2 million bond in collaboration with Enerfip, to finance solar and BESS development in Italy.
  • Launch of a self-generation solar pipeline in Colombia.
  • Global team reaches 110 full-time professionals.
  • More than 2 GW project under development.
2026 Consolidation · Capital Markets
  • Successful placement of the first €2 million tranche of the €4 million development bond.

We drive value across the entire energy project lifecycle — from early-stage development and permitting to engineering, construction (EPC) and long-term operation — combining international standards with local execution capabilities. Through robust governance, high standards of safety and compliance, and strategic partnerships, we enable sustainable growth, maximize project impact, and contribute to meaningful climate action and energy access for the communities in which we operate.
